CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTON® <br /> December 19, 2017 <br /> Mayor and City Council <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE 2018 CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS AND <br /> THE APPOINTMENT OF VICE MAYOR <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Each year, the Mayor reviews and revises, as necessary, Council assignments to <br /> various City Council Subcommittees, and local and regional boards and commissions. <br /> Accordingly, the Council is asked to ratify assignments for 2018. <br /> At the same meeting, the Council selects one of its members to serve as the Vice <br /> Mayor for the coming year. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Approve the City Council assignments to various committees and boards and the <br /> appointment of Arne Olson as Vice Mayor for calendar year 2018. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br />
