Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 17-975 accepting and approving 2017 Annual Report and 2018 Budget of the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District Advisory Board, declaring intent to levy an annual assessment for 2018 and setting December 5, 2017 as the date for public hearing Engineering 6. Approved plans and specification, reviewed bids, awarded and authorized the City Manager to execute a construction contract with Guerra Construction Group in the amount of$326,760 for the Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery project, CIP No. 16446; and authorized the Director of Engineering to approve and execute contract change orders not to exceed $33,000 7. Accepted public improvements performed by Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. for the Stanley Boulevard Reconstruction and Utility Undergrounding project, CIP No. 05522; authorized the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion, the payment of retention in the amount of $362,964.97, the return of $122,377 to the Sewer Enterprise Fund 431, $63,802 to the Water Enterprise Fund (421), $49,467 to the Storm Enterprise Fund (440) and the return of $266,800 to the Dublin Freeway Reimbursement for Future Projects Reserve (CIP No. 98590) 8. Approved the Final Map, Improvement Plans and authorized the City Manager to execute a Subdivision Agreement for Tract 8326 located at 536 and 550 St. John Street; and accepted all street rights of way and easements offered for dedication on the Final Map Finance 9. Pulled from the agenda and continued to December 5, 2017 - Approve the City Purchasing Procedures and Manual Operations Services 10. Presentation of Proclamation declaring November 25, 2017 as Small Business Saturday Councilmember Olson read the proclamation. Pamela Ott, Economic Development Director, thanked the Council for proclaiming November 25, 2017 as Small Business Saturday and supporting small businesses. Economic Development Director Ott noted that the City of Pleasanton hosts more than 3,500 small businesses that employ more than 32,000 people in the community.
