CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 672 <br /> <br /> ZONING UNIT NO. 124, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON, AND AN ORDINANCE ENDING CHAPTER 2 of <br /> TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE R-1-6500 (SINGLE FAMILY) <br /> DISTRICT TO THE "S"(STUDY) DISTRICT FOR A SPECIFIED PERIOD <br /> OF TIME. <br /> <br />~iTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />[!FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton, dated April 18, <br /> <br />i1960, referred to in ~2-12.12, Chapter 2 of Title II of the Ordi- <br />i~nance Code of the City of Pleasanton, designating and dividing the <br />!~City of Pleasanton into Zoning Districts, is hereby amended as <br /> <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Zoning Unit No. 124, as shown on the map dated August 10, <br /> 1972, on file with the City Clerk, copies of which are <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof, <br /> shall designate the land use and zoning district of the <br /> territory referred to therein. <br /> <br /> II. <br /> Said territory and zone classification, as amended, are <br /> <br /> further described as follows: <br /> <br /> Real property owned by Singer Housing Company, being <br /> approximately 18 acres in size and abutted on the south <br /> by Denker Drive, on the north by Stoneridge Drive and on <br /> the west by a parcel of property zoned "A" (Agricultural) <br /> District and by the Val Vista Neighborhood Park, and on <br /> the east by Tract #3312, is classified in the "S" (Study) <br /> District for a period not to exceed 90 days or until as <br /> a result of land use studies permanent zoning is affixed <br /> thereto, whichever is earlier. <br /> <br /> III. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days <br />i!after its adoption in "THE TIMES" a newspaper of general circula- <br /> <br />!~tion published in the City of Pleasanton and shall be in force <br />~!immediately upon its adoption as an urgency interim zoning ordi- <br />!~nance pursuant to ~65858 of the Government Code in order to insure; <br /> <br /> tha~, pending completion of land use studies with respectthereto,said <br /> <br /> <br />
