PC-99-63 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATIONS OF BRIAN <br />MCGUIRE (CASE PUD-99-06), KENNETH GOOCH (CASE PUD-99-08), CLARA NEVIS <br />(CASE PUD-99-09), ROBERT AND SANDRA LUTZ (CASE PUD-99-10), AND FRANK <br />AND LILLIAN JARDIN (CASE PUD-99-12) FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brian McGuire has applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) development <br />plan approval to subdivide 7.37 acres into a nine-lot residential development <br />located on Clara Lane (immediately south of the Lutz parcel); Kenneth Gooch has <br />applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) development plan approval to <br />subdivide 2.75 acres into a four-lot residential development located at 2756 <br />Vineyard Avenue; Clara Nevis has applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br />development plan approval to subdivide 7.34 acres into a seven-lot residential <br />development located at 2546 Vineyard Avenue; Robert and Sandra Lutz have <br />applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) development plan approval to <br />subdivide 2.51 acres into a four-lot residential development located at the <br />southeast comer of Vineyard Avenue and Clara Lane; and Frank and Lillian <br />Jardin have applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) development plan <br />approval to subdivide 2.66 acres into a three-lot residential development located at <br />751 Clara Lane; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the McGuire, Nevis, and Jardin properties is PUD - LDR (Planned Unit <br />Development - Low Density Residential) and Open Space District; zoning for the <br />Gooch and Lutz properties is PUD - LDR (Planned Unit Development - Low <br />Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project is within the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan area for which <br />an EIR has been prepared and certified; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of September 8, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations ofthe <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br /> <br />I. The plan is in the best interests of the public health, safety, and <br />general welfare. <br />
