PC-99-61 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE CITY OF PLEASANTON'S ACQUISITION OF <br />AN APPROXIMATELY 1.93-ACRE PARCEL AND AN APPROXIMATELY <br />0.1 I-ACRE PARCEL FOR PARK USE IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE CITY'S <br />GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is proposing to acquire fee title to an approximately <br />1.93-acre parcel located northeast of Sutter Gate Park between Stoneridge Drive <br />and Santa Rita Road and an approximately 0.1 I-acre parcel located east of the <br />intersection of Stoneridge Drive and the Arroyo Mocho Canal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Public and Institutional (P) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of August 25,1999, the Planning Commission after <br />considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations ofthe <br />city staff concerning this matter, approved the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the City of Pleasanton's acquisition of an <br />approximately 1.93-acre parcel located northeast of Sutter Gate Park between <br />Stoneridge Drive and Santa Rita Road and an approximately 0.1 I-acre parcel <br />located east of the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and the Arroyo Mocho Canal <br />is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section I. Finds that the City of Pleasanton's acquisition of an approximately 1.93-acre parcel <br />located northeast of Sutter Gate Park between Stoneridge Drive and Santa Rita Road <br />and an approximately 0.1 I-acre parcel located east of the intersection of Stoneridge <br />Drive and the Arroyo Mocho Canal is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless <br />appealed prior to that time. <br />
