<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE CITY <br />ACQUISITION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 1.93-ACRE PARCEL AND AN <br />APPROXIMA TEL Y 0.1 I-ACRE PARCEL FOR PARK USE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has requested confirmation that the City acquisition of an <br />approximately 1.93-acre parcel located northeast of Sutter Gate Park between <br />Stoneridge Drive and Santa Rita Road and an approximately O.ll-acre parcel <br />located east of the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and the Arroyo Mocho Canal <br />is in conformance with the City's General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />July 23,1999, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 25,1999, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project would not have a <br />significant environmental impact; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br />potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br />
