<br />prevent entry into the storm drain system. No cleaning agent may be discharged <br />into the storm drain. If any cleaning agent or degreaser is used, wash water must <br />be collected and discharged to the sanitary sewer, subject to approval of the <br />Dublin-San Ramon Services District. <br /> <br />38. The restaurant's contained area for cleaning mats, containers, and equipment shall <br />be designed to prevent runoff onto or from the area and shall be connected to the <br />sanitary sewer, subject to approval by the Dublin San Ramon Services District. A <br />structural control such as a sand filter or oil/ water separator shall be used, and a <br />sign shall be posted prohibiting the dumping of hazardous materials. The property <br />owner shall instruct employees to conduct all washing activities in this area. <br /> <br />39. The project developer shall label all on-site storm drain inlets with the wording, <br />"No Dumping -- Drains to Bay" using City-approved methods and materials. On- <br />site storm drain facilities shall be cleaned a minimum of twice a year as follows: <br />immediately prior to October 15 and once in January. Additional cleaning may be <br />required iffoUlld necessary by the City Engineer/Director of Building Inspection. <br /> <br />40. The project developer shall include erosion controVstorm water quality measures <br />on the final grading plan which shall specifically address measures to prevent soil, <br />dirt, and debris from entering the storm drain system. Such measures may include, <br />but are not limited to, hydroseeding, hay bales, sandbags, and siltation fences and <br />are subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer/Director of Building <br />Inspection. If no grading plan is required, necessary erosion control/storm water <br />quality measures shall be shown on the site plan submitted for an on-site permit, <br />subject to the review and approval of the Director of Building Inspection. The <br />project developer is responsible for ensuring that the contractor is aware of and im- <br />plements such measures. <br /> <br />4 I. The project developer shall submit a construction Best Management Practices <br />(BMP's) program for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issu- <br />ance of building and/or grading permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by <br />the general contractor and all subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equip- <br />ment. Construction site cleanup and control of construction debris shall also be <br />addressed. Failure to comply with the approved construction BMP may result in <br />the issuance of correction notices, citations, or a stop work order. <br /> <br />42. The project developer is responsible for implementing the fOllowing measures dur- <br />ing all construction phases of the project: <br /> <br />Z-98-287.
