<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-52 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BREILH PROPERTIES FOR <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-99-24 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Breilh Properties has applied for design review approval to construct one new <br />two-bedroom dwelling unit over a new five-car garage on a site containing four <br />existing rental units located at 859 Rose Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is RM-I ,500 (Multi-family Residential) District, Core <br />Area Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 28, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed development meets all of <br />the applicable requirements of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and that the <br />proposed project would blend in with the surrounding neighborhood. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves the application of Breilh Properties for design review approval to <br />construct one new two-bedroom dwelling unit over a new five-car garage on a site <br />containing four existing rental units located at 859 Rose Avenue, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
