<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-48 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE CITY OF PLEASANTON'S ACQUISITION OF <br />157 MAIN STREET FOR CIVIC CENTER USES IS IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE <br />CITY'S GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is proposing to acquire fee title to a 14,840-square-foot <br />building located at 157 Main Street for City administrative office and other civic <br />uses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is CC (Central Commercial) District, Downtown <br />Revitalization Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of July 14, 1999, the Planning Commission after <br />considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations ofthe <br />city staff concerning this matter, approved the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the City of Pleasant on's acquisition of a <br />14,840-square-foot building located at 157 Main Street for City administrative <br />office and other civic uses is consistent with the P1easanton General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Finds that the City of P1easanton's acqulSltlOn of a 14,840-square-foot building <br />located at 157 Main Street for City administrative office and other civic uses is <br />consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless <br />appealed prior to that time. <br />
