PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-47 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE CITY ACQUISITION OF 157 MAIN STREET FOR CIVIC CENTER USES WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has requested confirmation that the City acquisition of a 14,840-square-foot building located at 157 Main Street for City administrative office and other civic uses is conformance with the City's General Plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 3, 1999, and received the recommendations of staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 14, 1999, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration prepared for the proposed project; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project would not have a significant environmental impact; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife.
