<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-46 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />LIVERMORE-PLEASANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR DESIGN REVIEW <br />APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-99-175 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Livermore-P1easanton Fire Department has applied for design review approval <br />for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Station Four and the Fire Department's <br />Administrative Headquarters consisting of an approximately 20,61 O-square-foot, <br />one- and two-story building on an approximately 1.63-acre site located between <br />Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo Del Valle; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C (Commercial) <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 14, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the environmental impacts ofthe proposed fire station were previously evaluated <br />with an Initial Study and Negative Declaration, therefore, no additional <br />environmental documentation was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed fire station/administrative <br />headquarters is attractive and well-designed and will be an attractive addition to <br />the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case Z-99-175, the application of the Livermore-P1easanton Fire <br />Department for design review approval for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Station <br />Four and the Fire Department's Administrative Headquarters consisting of an <br />approximately 20,610-square-foot, one- and two-story building on an <br />approximately 1.63-acre site located between Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo <br />Del Valle, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and <br />made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
