'. PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-34 RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE CITY OF PLEASANTON'S ACQUISITION OF A 3.1 ACRE PARCEL AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF BERNAL AVENUE AND OLD BERNAL AVENUE FOR CIVIC CENTER USES IS CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is proposing to acquire fee title to 3.1 acres of property located at the northwest corner of Bernal Avenue and Old Bernal Avenue (across Old Bernal Avenue from the Pleasanton Library) for civic center uses (parking facility, structure, library, city hall, etc.); and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Office District; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed meeting of April 14, 1999, the Planning Commission after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the city staff concerning this matter, approved the Negative Declaration prepared for this project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the City of Pleasant on's acquisition of 3.1 acres of property located at the northwest corner of Bernal Avenue and Old Bernal Avenue (across Old Bernal Avenue from the Pleasanton Library) for civic center uses (parking facility, structure, library, city hall, etc.) is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Finds that the City of Pleasanton's acquisition of 3.1 acres of property located at the northwest corner of Bernal Avenue and Old Bernal Avenue (across Old Bernal Avenue from the Pleasanton Library) for civic center uses (parking facility, structure, library, city hall, etc.) is consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
