<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-99-32 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE PRUDENTIAL <br />INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-8l-30-79D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for Planned Unit <br />Development design review approval to construct five new office buildings: one <br />four-story, 70 feet tall, approximately 97,000 square foot office building on Lot <br />53A; two four-story, 70 feet tall approximately 119,500 square feet office <br />buildings on Lot 52; and two two-story office buildings of a maximum size of <br />about 30,000 square feet each on Lot 5B (Lot 53A [5860 Owens Drive] and Lot <br />52 [5890 Owens Drive] are located on the south side of Owens Drive between <br />Chabot Drive and Willow Road, Lot 5B [4701 Chabot Drive] is located on the <br />northeast corner of Chabot Drive and Gibraltar Drive); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit Development) <br />Industrial/Commercial-Office); Hacienda Zoning for Lots 52 and 53A is <br />MCOIPD (Mixed Office Commercial Industrial Planned Development) and for <br />Lot 5B is MOIPD (Mixed Office Industrial Planned Development); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of April 14, 1999, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the existing Environmental Impact Report <br />previously approved by the City Council for Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed site and landscape plan <br />for each of the three sites is well-developed and in accordance with the Hacienda <br />Design Guidelines for the property. <br />
