The soils engineer shall certifY the pad compactions of all lots containing fill to the satisfaction of the Director of Building Inspection prior to the issuance of building permits. 33. Building and situs plans are to be submitted to the Building Department on computer disk in a format approved by the Director. Digitized information shall be submitted before requesting a final inspection and should reflect as-built situs and architectural information as approved by the Director. Construction Requirements: 34. All site improvements and construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All construction equipment must meet Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. 35. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed from the site at the end of each work day. 36. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy. 37. If archeological materials are uncovered during grading, trenching, or other on-site excavation, all work on site shall be stopped and the City immediately notified. The county coroner and the Native American Heritage Commission shall also be notified and procedures followed as required in Appendix "K" of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). A similar note shall appear on the improvement plans. 38. Portable toilets used during construction shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. Fire and Police Department Requirements: 39. The project developer shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of lumber construction until the final inspection. 40. If required by the Police Department, the building(s) shall be equipped with an alarm system, the type to be approved by the Police Department and that this system shall be installed prior to occupancy of the building. 41. The project developer shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Pleasanton Municipal Code, Chapter 20.24).
