<br />THIS ACTION WAS RECONSIDERED AT THE JANUARY 13, 1999 PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MEETING. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF BRADDOCK & LOGAN, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Braddock & Logan as applied for PUD rezoning to rezone a 1.0:t acre parcel from <br />the Agriculture (A) zoning district to the Planned Unit Development (PUD) _ <br />Medium Density Residential (MDR) zoning designation and development plan <br />approval for 31 single-family lots ranging in size from approximately 10,000 <br />square feet to 12,900 square feet on a l3.3:t acres site (three existing parcels) <br />located at 1635, 1777, an 1851 Rose Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Planned Unit Development - Medium Density <br />Residential (PUD-MDR) and Agriculture (A) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of December 9, 1998, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that issues relating to traffic circulation and <br />the Rose A venue extension were not resolved to its satisfaction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further recommended that a specific plan should be <br />prepared for the undeveloped Rose Avenue property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies the application of Braddock & Logan for PUD rezoning to rezone a 1.0:t <br />acre parcel from the Agriculture (A) zoning district to the Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) - Medium Density Residential (MDR) zoning designation <br />and development plan approval for 31 single-family lots ranging in size from <br />approximately 10,000 square feet to 12,900 square feet on a l3.3:t acres site (three <br />existing parcels) located at 1635, 1777, an 1851 Rose Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Recommended that the City Council direct staff to initiate a Specific Plan for the <br />remaining unapproved Rose Avenue property. <br /> <br />\ <br />
