PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-89 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF PETER SHUTTS/RUSS MORGAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-98-37/Z-98-176 WHEREAS, Peter Shutts/Russ Morgan have applied for design review and conditional use permit approvals to allow a rental yard, outdoor storage, and accessory uses; and to allow the placement of five modular buildings and 14 shipping containers on site; and to allow the construction of a patio cover, a new business sign, and the repainting of an existing building located at 3878 Stanley Boulevard; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (Service Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of November Commission considered all public testimony, recommendations of the City staff; and 23, 1998, the Planning relevant exhibits, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed operation will not be compatible with surrounding properties and that the use does not meet the intent of the Zoning Ordinance and may impact the public health, safety, and general welfare. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Denies the application of Peter Shutts/Russ Morgan for design review and conditional use permit approvals to allow a rental yard, outdoor storage, and accessory uses; and to allow the placement of five modular buildings and 14 shipping containers on site; and to allow the construction of a patio cover, a new business sign, and the repainting of an existing building located at 3878 Stanley Boulevard. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
