<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-88 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR REZONING, AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-98-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has initiated a rezoning oftwo parcels ofland <br />(approximately 15.3 acres) located on the north side of Rose Avenue generally <br />referred to as Nolan Farm (l015, 1027, and 1500 Rose Avenue) from the <br />R-I-6,500 zoning district to the PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development-Medium <br />Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly notice public hearing of November 10, 1998, the Planning <br />Commission, considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration has been prepared for this rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed rezoning is consistent <br />with the General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case RZ-98-08, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton to rezone two parcels ofland (approximately 15.3 acres) located on the <br />north side of Rose Avenue generally referred to as Nolan Farm (1015, 1027, and <br />1500 Rose Avenue) from the R-I-6,500 zoning district to the PUD-MDR <br />(Planned Unit Development-Medium Density Residential) District. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Recommends that the density for the property should be at or below mid-point of <br />the General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
