!i CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ORDINANCE NO. 657 ZONING UNIT #120, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AND AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II, CHAPTER 2, OF SHE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON REZONING A PARCEL OF PROPERTY SOME 18.16 ACRES IN SIZE OWNED BY CASTLEWOOD ENTERPRISES, A CO-PARTNERSHIP, TO THE R-1 6,500 (RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, land use for the property herein referred to has been in ~dispute for some two years; and i,WHEREAS, said property was placed in aholding zone pending completi~ of land use studies; and WHEREAS, as a result of said studies and of numerous public hear- ings at which evidence both oral and documentary was taken and con- sidered it appears that, under all the circumstances, consistent with current traffic patterns, adjacent and nearby present and prospective land uses and the essentially rural character desired, the hereinafter-provided for zoning is most appropriate. I. ,iThe Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton, dated April 18, 1960, iireferred to in ~2-12.12, Chapter 2 of Title II of the Ordinance i!Code of the City of Pleasanton, designating and dividing the City i~of Pleasanton into Zoning Districts, is hereby amended as follows: Zoning Unit No. 120, dated March 27, 1972, on file with the City Clerk, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, shall designate land use and zoning districts as shown thereon for the territory. IIo ~!Said territory and zone classification, as amended, is further described as follows: Real property of Castlewood Enterprises, a co-partnership, being approximately 18.16 acres in size in the southeast corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road, is hereby classified as follows: R1-6,500 (Residential) District III.
