!i CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 657 <br /> <br /> ZONING UNIT #120, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON, AND AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II, CHAPTER 2, <br /> OF SHE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON REZONING A <br /> PARCEL OF PROPERTY SOME 18.16 ACRES IN SIZE OWNED BY <br /> CASTLEWOOD ENTERPRISES, A CO-PARTNERSHIP, TO THE R-1 6,500 <br /> (RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, land use for the property herein referred to has been in <br /> ~dispute for some two years; and <br /> i,WHEREAS, said property was placed in aholding zone pending completi~ <br /> <br /> of land use studies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of said studies and of numerous public hear- <br /> <br /> ings at which evidence both oral and documentary was taken and con- <br /> sidered it appears that, under all the circumstances, consistent <br /> with current traffic patterns, adjacent and nearby present and <br /> prospective land uses and the essentially rural character desired, <br /> the hereinafter-provided for zoning is most appropriate. <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br />,iThe Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton, dated April 18, 1960, <br />iireferred to in ~2-12.12, Chapter 2 of Title II of the Ordinance <br /> <br />i!Code of the City of Pleasanton, designating and dividing the City <br />i~of Pleasanton into Zoning Districts, is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br /> Zoning Unit No. 120, dated March 27, 1972, on file with the <br /> City Clerk, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A <br /> and made a part hereof, shall designate land use and zoning <br /> districts as shown thereon for the territory. <br /> <br /> IIo <br /> <br />~!Said territory and zone classification, as amended, is further <br /> <br /> described as follows: <br /> <br /> Real property of Castlewood Enterprises, a co-partnership, <br /> being approximately 18.16 acres in size in the southeast <br /> corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill <br /> Road, is hereby classified as follows: <br /> <br /> R1-6,500 (Residential) District <br /> <br /> III. <br />I~This Ordinance shall he published once within fifteen days after <br /> <br /> <br />
