<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-83 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-98-236 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on has applied for design review approval for single-story <br />building additions (totaling 1,808 square feet) and repainting of the existing Civic <br />Center building at 200 Old Bernal A venue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Public and Institutional, Downtown Revitalization <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 28,1998, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects ofthis nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the building additions would be <br />compatible with the Civic Center building and in conformance with the design <br />requirements for the Downtown Revitalization District. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case Z-98-236, the application of the City of Pleasanton for design <br />review approval for single-story building additions (totaling 1,808 square feet) <br />and repainting of the existing Civic Center building at 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br />subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of <br />this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
