<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-73 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE DE SILVA <br />GROUP, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-96-14 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the DeSilva Group has applied for Planned Unit Development pre-zoning to <br />PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development - Low Density Residential) and <br />development plan approval to allow 91 single-family homes on approximately 46 <br />acres located between Foothill Road and Interstate 680 adjoining the Foothill <br />Knolls subdivision to the south and the Foothill Farms subdivision to the north; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Unincorporated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />September 19, 1998, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 23, 1998, the Planning Commission received a <br />proposed negative declaration prepared for the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts ofthe proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project would not have a <br />significant environmental impact. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for the application of the <br />DeSilva Group has applied for Planned Unit Development pre-zoning to PUD-LDR <br />(Planned Unit Development - Low Density Residential) and development plan <br />approval to allow 91 single-family homes on approximately 46 acres located between <br />Foothill Road and Interstate 680 adjoining the Foothill Knolls subdivision to the <br />south and the Foothill Farms subdivision to the north. <br />
