<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-69 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF RICARDO OLIVEIRA, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE UP-98-46 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ricardo Oliveira has applied for a conditional use permit to operate a martial arts <br />studio in an approximately 2,400 square foot tenant space located at 148 Ray <br />Street, Suite B; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District, Core Area Overlay <br />District, and Downtown Revitalization District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of September 9, 1998, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed martial arts studio would <br />negatively impact surrounding uses. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies the application of Ricardo Oliveira for a conditional use permit to operate <br />a martial arts studio in an approximately 2,400 square foot tenant space located at <br />148 Ray Street, Suite B. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
