<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-58 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF PACIFIC UNION VENTURES, <br />INC., AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-05 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pacific Union Ventures, Inc. has applied for Planned Unit Development rezoning <br />and development plan approval for the construction of a 26,045 square foot <br />office/retail building located at 325 Ray Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-I-6,500 (Single-family Residential), Downtown <br />Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 29, 1998, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed office/retail building would <br />have negative impacts on the Downtown traffic and parking. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Denies the application of Pacific Union Ventures, Inc. for Planned Unit <br />Development rezoning and development plan approval for the construction of a <br />26,045 square foot office/retail building located at 325 Ray Street. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless <br />appealed prior to that time. <br />
