<br />75. The cafeteria shall include a contained area for cleaning mats, containers, and <br />equipment. The wash area shall be covered or shall be designed to prevent runoff <br />onto or from the area. The area shall be connected to the sanitary sewer, subject to <br />approval by DSRSD, or shall be collected in a containment area and removed <br />regularly by a disposal and recycling service. If connected to the sanitary sewer, a <br />structural control such as a fossil filter or oil/water separator shall be used, and a <br />sign shall be posted prohibiting the dumping of hazardous materials. Other meth- <br />ods may be used subject to the approval of the Director of Building Inspection. <br />The project developer shall instruct employees to conduct all washing activities in <br />this area. <br /> <br />76. No other area shall be allowed to drain into the loading area located behind the <br />new building; a containment berm shall be installed to prevent such drainage if <br />found necessary by the City EngineerfDirector of Building Inspection. The load- <br />ing area may be required to drain to the sanitary sewer if required by the City <br />EngineerfDirector of Building Inspection, subject to approval by DSRSD. If con- <br />nected to the sanitary sewer, a structural control such as an oil/water separator or <br />sand filter shall be used, and a sign shall be posted prohibiting the dumping ofhaz- <br />ardous materials. A regular program of inspecting vehicles for leaks and spills, <br />and of sweeping/vacuuming, litter control, and spill cleanup shall be implemented. <br />Such program shall be submitted to the Planning Director for review and approval <br />prior to issuance of building permits. <br /> <br />77. The project developer shall label all on-site storm drain inlets with the wording, <br />"No Dumping -- Drains to Bay" using City-approved methods and materials. On- <br />site storm drain facilities shall be cleaned a minimum of twice a year as follows: <br />immediately prior to October 15 and once in January. Additional cleaning may be <br />required iffound necessary by the City Engineer/Director of Building Inspection. <br /> <br />78. Prior to the commencement of any clearing, grading, or excavation, the project de- <br />veloper shall submit a copy of the State Water Resources Control Board Notice of <br />Intent (NO!) for coverage under the State Construction Storm Water General Per- <br />mit. <br /> <br />79. The project developer shall include erosion control/storm water quality measures <br />on the final grading plan which shall specifically address measures to prevent soil, <br />dirt, and debris from entering the storm drain system. Such measures may include, <br />but are not limited to, hydro seeding, hay bales, sandbags, and siltation fences and <br />are subject to the review and approval of the City EngineerfDirector of Building <br /> <br />2-98-071.
