<br />44. Portable toilets used during construction shall be emptied on a regular basis as nec- <br />essary to prevent odor. <br /> <br />Police Department Requirements: <br /> <br />45. Ifrequired by the Police Department, the building shall be equipped with an alarm <br />system, the type to be approved by the Police Department and that this system <br />shall be installed prior to occupancy of the building. <br /> <br />Fire Department Requirements: <br /> <br />46. The project developer shall modify the subject project to include the following: <br /> <br />a. The office building, parking garage, and parking deck shall be provided with <br />an automatic fire extinguishing system. <br /> <br />b. The covered canopy shall have a minimum thirteen foot, six inch (13' 6") <br />clear height measured from grade to the underside of the lowest structural <br />member of the canopy. <br /> <br />c. Fire hydrants shall be provided along both sides of the new structure, spaced <br />on three hundred foot (300' 0") intervals. <br /> <br />d. A forty-five foot (45' O")/fifty-five foot (55' 0") inside/outside turning radius <br />shall be provided on all driveway aisles. The entire width of the driveway <br />aisle can be used in computing these radii. <br /> <br />e. A second point of pedestrian access to the parking garage shall be provided. <br />This access must conform to the Uniform Building Code's requirements for a <br />fire-rated stairwell. <br /> <br />f. Jacking pads shall be provided around the new building's perimeter for the <br />Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department's ladder truck. <br /> <br />The above-stated items shall shown on the final building permit plan set to the sat- <br />isfaction of the Fire Marshall, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. <br /> <br />47.
