<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-49 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF MT. DIABLO NATIONAL BANK AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE RZ-98-04/UP-98-21/Z-98-l49 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mt. Diablo National Bank has applied to rezone an approximately 0.4 acre <br />(17,425 square feet) site from the RM-l,500 (Multi-Family Residential) District <br />to the C-C (Central Commercial) District and for conditional use permit and <br />design review approvals to construct a 29-space parking lot located at 4287 <br />Stanley Boulevard for use by Mt. Diablo National Bank employees and other <br />employees working in the building located at 992 Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is RM-I,500 (Multi-Family Residential, 1,500 square foot <br />lot per unit minimum) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 8, 1998, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for Case RZ-98-04/UP-98-21/Z-98-149; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />June 15, 1998, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project would not have <br />any adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br />
