The proposed definitions below are not presently in the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code.) <br /> <br />18.08.030 <br /> <br />Amateur Radio Facility: <br /> <br />"Amateur radio facility" means antennas and related equipment for the purpose of <br />self-training, intercommunication, or technical investigations carried out by an amateur <br />radio operator who is interested in radio technique solely for personal interests and <br />without pecuniary interest, who holds a written authorization from the Federal <br />Communications Commission to operate an amateur radio facility. <br /> <br />18.08.035 <br /> <br />Antenna: <br /> <br />"Antenna" means any system of poles, panels, rods, or similar devices used for the <br />transmission and reception of radio frequency signals. <br /> <br />18.08.040 <br /> <br />Antenna, Facade-Mounted: <br /> <br />"Antenna, facade-mounted" means an antenna that is directly attached or affixed <br />to any facade of a building. <br /> <br />18.08.045 <br /> <br />Antenna, Ground-Mounted: <br /> <br />"Antenna, ground-mounted" means an antenna with its support structure placed <br />directly on the ground. <br /> <br />18.08.050 <br /> <br />Antenna, Roof-Mounted: <br /> <br />"Antenna, roof-mounted" means an antenna generally free-standing, directly <br />attached or affixed to the roof of an existing building or structure other than a personal <br />wireless service facility tower. <br /> <br />18.08.105 <br /> <br />Co-location: <br /> <br />"Co-location" means when more than one personal wireless service facility owned <br />or used by more than one personal wireless service provider is sited on a single building, <br />tower, monopole, or other supporting structure. <br /> <br />RZ-97-7 <br />3/25/98 <br />RZ977A4.samIRKE <br /> <br />Page I <br />
