Councilmember Brown reported attending a Wheels Bus Board meeting and noted some surrounding <br /> cities are doing a response to the draft EIR relative to the BART-to-Livermore and asked whether that <br /> matter will be considered by Council. City Manager Fialho reported the comment period ends on <br /> October 16 and staff is drafting a letter explaining the City's position and noted the City's policy position • <br /> has not changed and is consistent with Council's work plan. He added staff will circulate the draft letter <br /> to Council. <br /> Mayor Thorne indicated the bill giving the City of Pleasanton the authority to locally run that project has <br /> been signed by the Governor. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS —None <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:49 p.m. The Council extended a <br /> tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
