nearon <br /> E N I F P P <br /> Date: November 7, 2017 <br /> To: City of Pleasanton City Council <br /> From: Nearon Enterprises <br /> Re: Statement from Nearon Enterprises to the City Council for its November 7 <br /> Meeting Related to the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone <br /> Dear Vice Mayor Pentin and Council members: <br /> I am writing to you on behalf of Nearon Enterprises, the current primary property <br /> owner within the area designated for the JDEDZ. <br /> We have reviewed the staff report and their recommendations for the November 7, <br /> 2017 meeting. <br /> We ask the City Council to vote in support of the resolutions which are: (1) <br /> certifying the Final Supplemental EIR, (2) approving the General Plan Amendment, <br /> (3) approving the PUD to rezone the project site,and (4) noticing the City's intent <br /> to adopt a JDEDZ Transportation Fee. <br /> Assuming the resolutions are adopted tonight,and the JDEDZ Transportation Fee <br /> is resolved quickly,we expect that our two pending sales transactions with Costco <br /> and Tharaldson Hospitality,will move ahead very quickly. <br /> We are grateful for the tremendous progress made in recent months, and the significant <br /> commitment and dedication demonstrated by so many members of the City's staff.
