ATTACHMENT 1 ' <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17 - <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON CERTIFYING <br />A SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (SEIR) FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR <br />THE JOHNSON DRIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE (JDEDZ) <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE P14-0852 AND PUD -105 <br />WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton has applied for applications on 12 parcels at <br />7106 through 7315 Johnson Drive and 7035 and 7080 Commerce Circle, comprising <br />approximately 40 acres known as the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone for: <br />(1) approval of a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of the <br />project site from Business Park (Industrial/Commercial and Office) and General and <br />Limited Industrial to Retail/Highway/ Service Commercial; Business and Professional <br />Offices; and (2) approval of a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Rezoning to rezone the <br />project site from Planned Unit Development -General and Light Industrial (PUD-G&LI) <br />District, Planned Unit Development-Industrial/Commercial-Office (PUD-I/C-O) District, <br />and General Industrial (I -G-40,000) District to PUD -C District (the "Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), a SEIR <br />was prepared for the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public meeting of October 11, 2017, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of <br />City staff concerning the proposed SEIR for the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting on October 11, 2017, <br />reviewed the potential Project impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of the SEIR, determined that the SEIR is appropriate <br />for the Project, and adopted Resolution PC -2017-19, determining that the SEIR is <br />appropriate for the Project, and recommending to the City Council that the SEIR for the <br />Project be certified; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public meeting of November 7, 2017, the City <br />Council considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of City <br />staff concerning the proposed SEIR; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its regular meeting on November 7, 2017, <br />reviewed the potential Project impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of the SEIR and determined that the SEIR is <br />appropriate for the Project; and <br />t <br />
