PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC -2017-25 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />(PUD) REZONING FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />FOR THE JOHNSON DRIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE (JDEDZ) <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD -105 <br />WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton has applied for a Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD) Rezoning to rezone 12 parcels at 7106 through 7315 Johnson <br />Drive and 7035 and 7080 Commerce Circle, comprising approximately 40 <br />acres known as the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone, from <br />Planned Unit Development -General and Light Industrial (PUD-G&LI) <br />District, Planned Unit Development-Industrial/Commercial-Office <br />(PUD-I/C-O) District, and General Industrial (I -G-40,000) District to <br />PUD -C (the "Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public meeting of October 11, 2017, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning the proposed PUD <br />Rezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), a <br />Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) was prepared and <br />recommended for certification for the Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD -105, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Rezoning to rezone 12 <br />parcels at 7106 through 7315 Johnson Drive and 7035 and 7080 <br />Commerce Circle, comprising approximately 40 acres known as the <br />Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone, from Planned Unit <br />Development -General and Light Industrial (PUD-G&LI) District, Planned <br />Unit Development-Industrial/Commercial-Office (PUD-I/C-O) District, and <br />General Industrial (I -G-40,000) District to PUD -C, subject to the attached <br />conditions (Exhibit A) and the attached map (Exhibit B). <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
