CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 646 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br /> TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 62 <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br /> The City Council does hereby make the following findings: <br /> <br /> (a) The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County <br /> did, by Resolution No. 69-51 adopted December 18, 1969, approve <br /> Annexation No. 62 and authorized the City of Pleasanton to take <br /> proceedings to consummate annexation of the property included <br /> within said annexation to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> (b) On January 28, 1971, the Local Agency Formation, by <br /> Resolution No. 71-7, approved a one year extension to December 18, <br /> 1971 within which to complete proceedings relating to said annexa- <br /> tion. <br /> <br /> (c) On September 13, 1971, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the <br /> City Council chambers at the Justice Court, 30 West Angela Street <br /> <br /> in the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, <br /> <br />:ithe City Council opened the public hearing on said annexation and, <br /> having done so, continued the matter from time to time until, at <br /> its meeting November 1, 1971, the City Council received and con- <br /> sidered evidence both oral and documentary including protests of <br /> I'persons entitled, under the District Reorganization Act, to <br /> ~{register protests to said annexation. <br /> <br /> (d) Following said continued hearing, the City Council, by <br /> Resolution No. 71-222, made a finding that, with respect to Annexa- <br /> tion No. 62, there had been no majority protest lodged. <br /> <br /> (e) Following adoption of said resolution and with the con- <br /> .sent of the owner of said property it was agreed that the annexa- <br /> .tion agreement with respect to said annexation reflect the commit- <br /> <br /> <br />
