CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE N0. 646 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 62 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I. The City Council does hereby make the following findings: (a) The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County did, by Resolution No. 69-51 adopted December 18, 1969, approve Annexation No. 62 and authorized the City of Pleasanton to take proceedings to consummate annexation of the property included within said annexation to the City of Pleasanton. (b) On January 28, 1971, the Local Agency Formation, by Resolution No. 71-7, approved a one year extension to December 18, 1971 within which to complete proceedings relating to said annexa- tion. (c) On September 13, 1971, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the City Council chambers at the Justice Court, 30 West Angela Street in the City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, :ithe City Council opened the public hearing on said annexation and, having done so, continued the matter from time to time until, at its meeting November 1, 1971, the City Council received and con- sidered evidence both oral and documentary including protests of I'persons entitled, under the District Reorganization Act, to ~{register protests to said annexation. (d) Following said continued hearing, the City Council, by Resolution No. 71-222, made a finding that, with respect to Annexa- tion No. 62, there had been no majority protest lodged. (e) Following adoption of said resolution and with the con- .sent of the owner of said property it was agreed that the annexa- .tion agreement with respect to said annexation reflect the commit-
