CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 643 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE 637 <br /> FOR UP TO ONE YEAR OR UNTIL, FOLLOWING STUDY, <br /> PERMANENT ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES ARE FIXED, <br /> WHICHEVER IS EARLIER <br /> <br />~THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a hearing noticed pursuant to ~65856 of the Government <br /> Code during which oral and documentary evidence taken indicated <br /> that insufficient time had been provided for under Ordinance 637 <br /> to complete the land use studies contemplated therein. <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br />The provisions of Ordinance 637 are, pursuant to §65906 of the <br />Government Code, extended for one year or until, following the <br />land use review contemplated by Ordinance 637, permanent zoning <br />~!district boundaries are fixed for the real property described <br />i therein, whichever is earlier. <br /> <br /> II. <br /> <br />~!This Ordinance shall be published once within 15 days after its <br /> adoption in "The Times", a newspaper of general circulation, pub- <br /> lished in the City of Pleasanton, and shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its adoption, pursuant to ~65906 of the Govern- <br /> ment Code, for the reasons stated in Ordinance 637 and for the <br /> additional reason that additional time is required to complete the <br /> land use study contemplated in Ordinance 637. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on October 4, 1971. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> <br /> <br />
