Chapter 1, prepared by the International Conference of Building Officials, three copies of which <br />are on file with the City Clerk for use by the public. <br /> <br />(Subsection C, no change.) <br /> <br />D. Where there is a reference in the Code to the "Building Official" it shall mean the "Director <br />of Building Inspection" or in the absence of the Director, the Interim, Temporary or Acting <br />Director of Building Inspection. <br /> <br />(20.52.020, no change.) <br /> <br />(20.52.030, no change) <br /> <br />(Subsection A, no change.) <br /> <br />(Subsection B, no change.) <br /> <br />C. "High-risk building" is any buildings, other than an essential or hazardous building, <br />having an occupant load of one hundred (100) occupants or more as determined by section <br />1003.2.2 of the Uniform Building Code, except that a high-risk building shall not include the <br />following: <br /> <br /> 1. Any building having exterior walls braced with masonry cross walls or wood <br /> flame cross walls spaced less than forty feet (40') apart in each story. Cross walls shall <br /> be full story height with a minimum length of one and one half (1¼) times the story <br /> height. <br /> 2. Any building used for its intended purpose, as determined by the Director, for less <br /> than twenty (20) hours per week. <br /> <br />D. "Minimum-risk building" is any building, not classified as a high-risk building or an <br />essential or hazardous building, having an occupant load of twenty (20) occupants or more as <br />determined by section 1003.2.2 of the Uniform Building Code. <br /> <br />E.
