CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL AND REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> September 5, 2017 <br /> CALL TO ORDER—SPECIAL MEETING <br /> Mayor Thorne called the special meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 6:30 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT— None <br /> CLOSED SESSION <br /> The meeting adjourned to Closed Session for the following purpose: <br /> Conference with Labor Negotiators pursuant to Government Code §54957.6: <br /> Agency representatives: Nelson Fialho and Debra Gill <br /> Employee organization: Pleasanton Police Officers Association <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> The special meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m. <br /> CALL TO ORDER— REGUALR MEETING <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Olson led the <br /> pledge of allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren stated that no action was taken in Closed Session. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Mayor Thorne opened the public hearing. <br /> Bob Epperly, Chair of the Resident Council at Stoneridge Creek, a retirement community. The Resident <br /> Council are the elected of the community. He provided comments on PUD-123 and thanked the Council <br /> for the opportunity to have the item on the agenda. This item demonstrates recognition that planning <br /> decisions are always open when new information is available. The San Francisco Premium Outlet Mall <br /> has been successful beyond their wildness dreams, with the negative impacts of unacceptable traffic on <br />
