Councilmember Pentin reported there is a 600-acre rail yard in the City of Brisbane that is currently <br /> under discussion for development of 1,000 homes. He stated it has become the "poster child" of the <br /> state's claims that local governments won't act to alleviate the housing crisis. <br /> Councilmember Brown congratulated Councilmember Narum for being the winner of the Rainmaker <br /> Award for Sunflower Hill. <br /> Councilmember Narum commented on water rates, Zone 7 and upcoming increases. She asked staff to <br /> provide residents with information about the upcoming meeting and provide links for residents to <br /> comment directly. <br /> Councilmember Brown agreed with Councilmember Narum's request. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS - None <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:11 p.m. The Council extended a <br /> tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
