,~,~$,,x.~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1776 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> GEORGE MARMENT FOR REZONING AND PUD <br /> DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER <br /> CASE PUD-98-22 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, George Marment has applied for (1) rezoning of an approximately 3,764 square <br /> foot portion of an approximately 11,915 square foot parcel from the PUD-HDR <br /> (Planned Unit Development-High Density Residential) District to the PUD-O <br /> (Planned Unit Development-Office) District; (2) rezoning of the remaining 8, 151 <br /> square feet of the same parcel fi'om the O (Office) District to the PUD-O (Planned <br /> Unit Development-Office) District; and (3) PUD development plan approval to <br /> construct a two-story, approximately 4,240 square foot office building located at <br /> 201 Old Bemal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-HDR (Planned Unit Development-High Density <br /> Residential) District, O (Office) District, Downtown Revitalization District, and <br /> Core Area Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by <br /> Council on March 24, 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 24, 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> rezoning and development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and development plan are <br /> consistent with the PUD ordinance and the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
