THE CITY OF 11 <br /> I "� CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTON¢ <br /> September 5, 2017 <br /> Library Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> RELATED TO LIBRARY CARDS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This memorandum of understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton <br /> Unified School District will allow for student identification cards to function as public library <br /> cards, expanding access to resources and enhancing the ease of use of the public library <br /> to our students. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve a memorandum of understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> Pleasanton Unified School District to allow data sharing which will make student <br /> identification cards function as Pleasanton Public Library cards. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact related to this memorandum of understanding. <br />
