ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MATHEW ZAHERI, FOR PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED <br /> UNDER CASE PUD-123 <br /> WHEREAS, Mathew Zaheri has applied for Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br /> development plan (PUD-123) approval to construct a 201-stall parking lot for vehicle <br /> display/inventory to be shared by Stoneridge Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram (Chrysler) and <br /> a future auto dealership located at 2694 Stoneridge Drive Stanley Boulevard (the <br /> "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the conditions described in <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15162 have not <br /> occurred for the proposed Project and found that the previously prepared Supplemental <br /> Environmental Impact Report (SEIR), including the adopted CEQA Findings and <br /> Statement of Overriding Considerations in City Council Resolution 10-393 for the <br /> Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan Amendment/Staples Ranch Project are adequate to <br /> serve as the environmental documentation for this Project and satisfy all the <br /> requirements of CEQA; and <br /> WHEREAS, after an June 28, 2017 workshop, at its meeting of August 9, 2017, <br /> the Planning Commission adopted Resolution PC-2017-16, determining that the <br /> proposed development plan is appropriate for the site, making findings, and <br /> recommending to the Pleasanton City Council that PUD-123 be approved; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 5, 2017, the City Council held a duly noticed public <br /> hearing on this application and considered all public testimony, agenda reports, and <br /> related materials, and the recommendations of the City staff and the Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, after a review of the materials presented, the City Council <br /> determines that the proposed PUD development plan is consistent with the City's <br /> General Plan and purposes of the PUD ordinance, and by this reference adopts and <br /> reaffirms all of the considerations and findings set forth in Planning Commission <br /> Resolution PC-2017-16. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The City Council approves Case PUD-123, the application of Mathew <br /> Zaheri for Planned Unit Development (PUD) development plan (PUD-123) approval to <br /> construct a 201-stall parking lot for vehicle display/inventory to be shared by Stoneridge <br /> Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram (Chrysler) and a future auto dealership located at 2694 <br /> Stoneridge Drive Stanley Boulevard, subject to the conditions as shown in Exhibit A, <br /> attached hereto and made part of this ordinance by this reference. <br />
