CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1774 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO <br /> THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE BOARD OF <br /> ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC <br /> EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That an amendment to the contract between the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton and the Board of Administration of the California Public Employees' <br /> Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached <br /> hereto, marked Exhibit, and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein <br /> set out in full. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to <br /> execute said amendment for and on behalf of said public agency. <br /> <br />Section 3: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br /> its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br /> in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen <br /> (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br /> and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br />February 16, 1999. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on March 16, <br />1999 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
