CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 03-113 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SETTING COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT <br />(INCLUDING LPFD MANAGEMENT) AND CONFIDENTIAL <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />compensation for the City's management (including LPFD managers) and <br />confidential employees, except the City Manager and City Attorney, is set forth in <br />the City's Management and Confidential Compensation Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current Management and Confidential Compensation Plan was approved in <br /> October 2002 and was effective as of September 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Manager recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to <br />increase the salary control points for each management classification to allow for <br />performance-based salary increases not to exceed a pool equal to 5% of <br />management/confidential compensation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />given concerns about the economy and continuing state fiscal problems, the City <br />Manager is also recommending that the City's bonus program be discontinued for <br />one year. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the 2003/2004 Management and Confidential Compensation Plan, <br />effective September 2003. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
