8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW /ACTION /INFORMATION <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br />Commissioner Allen inquired what would be on the next meeting's Agenda. <br />Ms. Stern replied that Summerhill Homes is coming back for formal action, and a couple <br />of Municipal Code text amendments related to the Climate Action Plan will also be <br />coming forward. <br />b. Actions of the City Council <br />No discussion was held or action taken. <br />c. Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br />No discussion was held or action taken. <br />d. Matters for Commission's Information <br />Commissioner Pearce inquired what the status of the East Pleasanton Specific Plan <br />Task Force is. <br />Mr. Dolan replied that the status is that there is no change in the status. <br />Commissioner Pearce inquired if there will be a meeting next month. <br />Mr. Dolan replied that there might be a change in that. He stated that there was no <br />meeting in February, and the March meeting is scheduled right now. He noted that <br />there may be some discussion that would lead to postponing that meeting yet another <br />month just to make sure that staff has all the materials necessary. He add that staff is <br />also going to be bringing forward some Housing Element information to the City Council <br />in March relative to the RHNA allocation, and it is possible that that could affect the <br />Task Force schedule as well. <br />Commissioner O'Connor stated that he has been hearing now that there is some report <br />out by some senior person that is involved with ABAG allocations, saying that the City <br />does not need to provide any more housing for the next eight years. <br />Mr. Dolan replied that there is no report out from any person from ABAG, but the City is <br />gearing up to produce its next Housing Element; staff is having a dialogue with the <br />State, and because the RHNA number went down after the region adopted the <br />Sustainable Communities Strategies and the economy went in the tank, the City's <br />number was substantially lower, plus the City gets to count as inventory several of the <br />sites that were rezoned last time that are either undeveloped or not built just because of <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, February 12, 2014 Page 36 of 38 <br />
