Acting Chair Blank inquired if the Commission should postpone the items to the next <br />meeting in case Ms. Olson wanted to come to the meeting or if the Commission should <br />proceed with the Consent Calendar as is. <br />Ms. Harryman replied that the Commission can keep the items on the Consent <br />Calendar, have a discussion, or postpone them, but it does not have to take them off <br />the Consent Calendar just because it was requested. <br />Commissioner Narum disclosed that she met with the applicant for P12 -1755 and <br />P12 -1702. <br />Commissioner Narum moved to make the conditional use findings for <br />Cases P12 -1707, P12 -1755, and P12 -1702, as described in their respective staff <br />reports, and to approve the applications subject to the Conditions of Approval as <br />listed in Exhibit A of those staff reports. <br />Commissioner Pearce seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Blank, Narum, O'Connor, Olson, and Pearce <br />NOES: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />RECUSED: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />Resolutions Nos. P11- 0824/P12 -0798, City of Pleasanton <br />Consideration of the Draft Downtown Hospitality Guidelines for <br />commercial businesses and special events within the Downtown <br />Specific Plan Area (downtown) and related Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />(PMC) amendments, including the creation of new hospitality districts <br />and new hour, noise, and operation requirements for hospitality uses <br />Downtown; and a City -wide PMC amendment changing when a <br />restaurant serving alcohol must apply for a Conditional Use Permit. <br />Also consider the Negative Declaration prepared for the project. <br />Pamela Ott presented the staff report, pointing out the substantive changes staff had <br />made in the Guidelines following the Commission's discussion at its Work Session. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, November 14, 2012 Page 4 of 31 <br />
