THE CITY OF <br />V Man.. <br />NI -11 -11 111 <br />PLEASANTON. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />City Council Chamber <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />C• _F <br />Wednesday, August 22, 2012 <br />(Staff has reviewed the proposed changes against the recorded proceedings <br />and confirms that these Minutes are accurate.) <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission Meeting of August 22, 2012, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />by Chair Jerry Pentin. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner <br />Jennifer Pearce. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Staff Members Present: Brian Dolan, Director of Community Development; Janice <br />Stern, Planning Manager; Julie Harryman, Assistant City <br />Attorney; Steve Otto, Senior Planner; Erica Fraser, <br />Associate Planner; and Maria L. Hoey, Recording Secretary <br />Commissioners Present: Chair Jerry Pentin, and Commissioners Phil Blank, Kathy <br />Narum, Greg O'Connor, Arne Olson, and Jennifer Pearce <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />a. July 25, 2012 <br />Commissioner O'Connor referred to the first paragraph on page 7 and stated that he did <br />not feel the Minutes captured what he was saying. He clarified that it was staff and not <br />the Commission who did not support the original locations proposed for the service <br />station. He requested that it be modified to read as follows: "He indicated that there <br />was a lot of discussion: the Commission first looked at the corner coming into the <br />driveway and that was not asseptable sported by staff and the second time, the <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, August 22, 2012 Page 1 of 8 <br />
