MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />East Pleasanton Specific Plan <br />Commissioner Olson inquired what the status of the East Pleasanton Specific Plan is. <br />Mr. Dolan replied that staff was ready to go to the City Council with a recommendation <br />but there was some concern raised about the composition of the Task Force. He noted <br />that there will be further discussion but will be back shortly. <br />WalMart Neighborhood Market <br />Commissioner Olson also inquired if any Councilmember has appealed the Planning <br />Commission's decision regarding the WalMart Neighborhood Market and how much <br />time is left for filing an appeal. <br />Mr. Dolan replied that no appeal has been filed yet and that April 3, 2012 is the deadline <br />of the appeal period. <br />Commissioner O'Connor inquired if only a Council person can appeal. <br />Ms. Seto replied that WalMart can also appeal it. She explained that the provision for <br />appealing an administrative decision is very limited and is different from the process for <br />a regular appeal. <br />8.
