Thomas Spitzer, Craig Spitzer—Alameda County Superior Court, Case No. <br /> RG126422060 <br /> The special meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m. <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Brown led <br /> the pledge of allegiance and provided opening remarks <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS — None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren stated that no action was taken in Closed Session. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Mayor Thorne opened the public hearings. <br /> Leroy Spitzer complained about a lawsuit, distribution of his property, his boat and the donation of his <br /> clothes to charity. He added he has lost approximately $200,000 in equipment. <br /> Tom Jensen, on behalf of Counsel for the Spitzer's, referenced a letter dated July 6th from Donald <br /> Schwartz, stating the City has no jurisdiction over the property, but rather is within the jurisdiction of the <br /> court. He referenced other documents, including an email sent today stating that attorney fees being <br /> assessed are unreasonable as well as an email from Special Counsel. He said the City is not following <br /> its own procedures and asked City Council not to decide on the matter, but read the documentation <br /> provided. <br /> Mayor Thorne closed the public hearings. <br />
