WHEREAS, the lien shall be subordinate to all existing special assessment liens <br /> previously imposed upon the same property and shall be paramount to all other fixed special <br /> assessment liens which may thereafter be created and all other liens except for state, county and <br /> property taxes with which it shall be upon a parity; and <br /> WHEREAS, the lien shall continue until the assessment and all interest due and payable <br /> thereon are paid; and <br /> WHEREAS, all such assessments remaining unpaid after 30 days from the date of <br /> recording on the assessment roll shall become delinquent and shall bear interest at the rate of 7 <br /> percent per annum from and after said date; and <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 18, 2017 to allow the City <br /> Council to consider the report of staff and any protests or objections. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1: The City Council confirms the imposition of a special assessment on 4719 <br /> Orangewood Court, Pleasanton, California (APN 941-1001-047-00) for the attorney fees, <br /> investigation costs, prosecution costs, and enforcement costs accrued in a nuisance abatement <br /> action in an amount up to $141,231.39 with interest accruing until the lien is satisfied. <br /> SECTION 2: Staff is directed to record this special assessment with the Alameda County <br /> Recorder's Office. <br /> SECTION 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on July 18, 2017. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of July, 2017, <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Ofx <br /> ii/ 4ki <br /> Karen -9 iaz, City Clerk <br /> APP OVED A S TO FORM: <br /> Alt <br /> Daniel G.
