1 <br />MINUTES <br />of <br />THE MEETING <br />of <br />THE CITY COUNCIL <br />Pleasanton, California <br />April 11, 1966 <br />THE CITY COUNCIL met in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M. on the above date with Mayor <br />Long presiding. <br />ROLL CALL by the City Clerk evidenced the following attendance: Councilmen Bubics, <br />Gerton, Harding, McWilliams and Mayor Long were present. Mr. Falea, City Manager, <br />Mr. Struthers, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, City Engineer, and Mrs. Woodward, City <br />Clerk, were present. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG was led by Mayor Long. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />It was moved by Councilman Harding and seconded by Councilman McWilliams that <br />the minutes of March 7th, 16th, 21st and 28th be approved as presented and the <br />M minutes of March 14th, regarding Resolution No. 66 -31, be corrected to include the <br />00 following: <br />1 <br />a. Application for details of site plan, architectural and land- <br />scaping approval shall be shown on applicant's plan, and subject to <br />any reasonable conditions as fixed by the Planning Commission. <br />b. The applicant or owner, Douglas Safreno, shall apply for <br />rezoning of the Cortez parcel to the south, changing the district <br />from C -0 to C -T. <br />1 <br />1 <br />c. Applicant or owner, Douglas Safreno, shall combine legal <br />descriptions of proposed site and southerly parcel into one descrip- <br />tion, so as to come under the jurisdiction of the Subdivision Committee <br />in the event of any future lot - split. The purpose of this provision <br />is to prevent the southerly parcel being used to meet lot area re- <br />quirements for any future application of adjacent property. <br />d. Property owner shall enter an agreement with the City, <br />approved as to form by the City Attorney, providing that within <br />five years from date of Conditional Use Permit all existing build- <br />ings shall be demolished, and that upon owner leasing or selling <br />the southerly Cortez parcel to applicant at fair market value, said <br />parcel shall be used only as a part of applicant's automobile <br />service station. <br />e. The property owner must dedicate to the City street right -of- <br />way at the corner of Vineyard Avenue and First Street necessary for a <br />40 -foot curb radius, and right -of -way on Vineyard Avenue necessary <br />for the standard 10 -foot sidewalk between the curb and property line. <br />f. A 10 -foot wide sidewalk with street tree planters and street <br />trees must be constructed along the frontage of the subject property <br />on both Vineyard. Avenue and First Street, in accordance with City <br />ordinances and regulations. <br />g. A standard storm water inlet must be constructed to replace <br />the existing side inlet catch basin on Vineyard Avenue, and all on- <br />site drainage must be carried to this inlet in underground conduits. <br />h. The existing fire hydrant must be relocated to the satis- <br />faction of the City Engineer, due to the increased curb radius <br />specified above. <br />i. All existing substandard sidewalk, curb and gutter must be <br />replaced. <br />j. Any street improvements required by the increased curb radius <br />must be replaced or reconstructed to City standards. <br />k. A site drainage plan must be submitted for approval by the <br />City Engineer prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br />1. On -site paving must be constructed to City standards, using <br />a minimum of two inches of asphalt concrete and six inches of aggregate <br />base. <br />2' <br />
