It was moved by Councilman Harding and seconded by Councilman Gerton that Resolution No. 66 -39, approving the recommendations of the Alameda County Highway Advisory Committee and urging the early construction of the El Charro- Croak'Road Interchange, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Gerton, Harding, McWilliams and Vice -Mayor Bubics NOES: None ABSENT: Mayor Long Reauest for Time Extension; Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract No. 2573 (Mission Park) Mr. Fales reported that the owners of Mission Park have requested another one- year time extension for the above tentative map. He explained that an extension of one year had previously been granted and will expire on April 8, 1966, Mr. Fales indicated that the applicant must refile a tentative map for Tract No. 2573 as it would be in violation of the City's Subdivision Ordinance if another time extension was granted on the almost two year old map currently on file. Matters for the Information of the Council Mr. Fales advised the City Council that he had sent a letter to Mrs. L. B. Johnson regarding the situation at the Camp Parka sewage treatment plant. Mr. Fales was asked to send a copy of this letter to V.C.S.D. Mr. Fales informed the Council that the tanker truck used to haul the sludge from the Sewage Treatment Plant to Castlewood is no longer operatable. He ad- vised the Councilmen that through the Civil Defense Dept., he was able to obtain a 1952 Army surplus truck for $350.00 and he has contracted with the Job Corps at Camp Parks to have it painted for $76.16 . The total coat of this truck plus the painting resulted in a savings of almost $3,000. The Councilmen commended the City Staff and the Job Corps on this accomplish- ment. Mr. Fales read a letter of invitation from Mr. Ned Brooks, President of the newly formed City of Pleasanton Employees' Association, inviting the City Council and their families to an outing to be held on May 22nd at 1:00 P.M. Mr. Fales read a letter from Mr. Jack Acord, dated March 12, 1966, appealing the adverse decision of the Planning Commission in denying this application for a zoning permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval in order to construct a seven unit multiple dwelling at 4795 Harrison Street in an RG -15 District. It was moved by Councilman McWilliams and seconded by Councilman Gerton that the public hearing on the appeal of Mr. Jack Acord from an adverse decision of the Planning Commission in denying an application for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval in order to construct a seven -unit multiple dwelling at 4795 Harrison Street in an RG -15 District be set at 7:30 P.M. on April 4, 1966.
