RESOLUTION NO. 17-953 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ADOPTING <br /> THE 2017/18 THROUGH 2020/21 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, biennially the City adopts a Capital Improvement Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public meeting on June 6, 2017, staff presented a report regarding <br /> the recommended Capital Improvement Program for 2017/18 through 2020/21. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1: Adopts the 2017/18 through 2020/21 Capital Improvement Program as <br /> presented at the June 6, 2017 City Council meeting. <br /> SECTION 2: Authorizes expenditures as detailed in the Capital Improvement <br /> Program for 2017/18 and 2020/21. <br /> SECTION 3: Authorizes the fund transfers, appropriations and carryovers as set <br /> forth in the Capital Improvement Program. <br /> SECTION 4: Authorizes the appropriation of $250,000 from the CIP reserve to <br /> support the participation of low income students in the Pleasanton Unified School District <br /> STEAM Preschool Program. <br /> SECTION 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br /> and adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> at a regular meeting held on June 20, 2017. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of June, <br /> 2017, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> LL.' <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> rr <br /> -niel G. odergren, City Attorney <br />
