CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL AND REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> June 6, 2017 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the special meeting to order at the hour of 6:30 p.m. <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> The meeting adjourned to Closed Session for the following purpose: Conference with Labor Negotiators <br /> pursuant to Government Code §54957.6: <br /> Agency representatives: Nelson Fialho and Debra Gill <br /> Employee organization: Pleasanton Police Officers Association <br /> The special meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m. <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Olson led the <br /> pledge of allegiance and provided opening remarks. - <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho noted an amendment relative to the Development Agreement under Item No. 5 <br /> clarifying the amount associated with the amenities provided by the developer. In addition, he reported <br /> that Item No. 7 has been removed from the agenda. <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren stated that no action was taken in Closed Session. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> 1. Approved meeting minutes April 18 (Thorne abstained), May 2 and 16 (Pentin abstained), 2017 <br /> 2. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 17-943 approving the First Amendment to <br /> Memorandum of Understanding with the Alameda County Sheriffs Office for Operations and <br /> Maintenance of the East County Animal Shelter at an estimated annual cost of$227,000 <br /> Community Services <br /> 3. Approved the proposed Literary Arts Ambassador Program <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br /> 5. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2163 approving a Development Agreement <br /> with Ponderosa Homes II Inc., as filed under Case PUD-113 <br />
